Karen is a Malaysian-born Chinese and has been in the real estate industry for more than 4 years. Before becoming a full-time Real Estate Agent, she worked as a Chartered Accountant. In 2015, she decided to leave her 9-to-5 career because she wanted more flexibility as her elder son with special needs was growing up. She joined a well-known real estate agency and focused mainly on new development projects in Seremban 2. Due to personal reasons, Karen later left the industry and returned to corporate life. In 2020, she planned to give real estate another chance, but the MCO lockdown made her put her plans on hold. Her husband started his real estate journey at the end of 2021, and seeing the opportunities and flexibility this industry offered inspired Karen to return. When Malaysia reopened in 2022, both of them joined Hartamas Real Estate together with strong determination to build their careers. Karen believes in stepping out of your comfort zone to grow, inspired by Brian Tracy's words: “You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.” Today, Karen focus in the PJ Seksyen 13 and PJ Seksyen 17 areas.
